School Council
The School Council is made up of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer who remain in place for a year, plus 2 class representatives who are all voted on democratically. We meet fortnightly with the Head teacher to discuss issues and suggestions raised in our classes.
At the request of the council, the school now has a house system. The children voted on the kinds of names they wanted and finally decided on precious stones. As a result our houses are: Citrine, Topaz, Garnet, and Emerald.
Cycle Path
After completing the schools travel plan the school council became interested in the idea of a safer and environmentally friendly way of travelling to Hethersett when they move up to the High school.
